Our Data Center is located in a secure zone within the building housing our parent company, MapleTronics. The Data Center has room for over 800—2U rack mount servers. Systems are in place to monitor and control both power backup and security. The area is environmentally controlled to maintain optimum operating temperature for the equipment. A chemical suppression system is also in place in case of fire.

Power backup systems make sure your data or web site is available. Switching systems are activated and a backup generator started in the event of a power outage. A battery backup system is used to provide power to the system while power is switched over to the generator.

Security measures are in place to limit access to the Data Center and only authorized personnel are allowed access. Only authorized technical support personnel are allowed access to the Server Room. These security measures are in place because we take the security of your business and data very seriously.

Climate control is critical where data processing equipment is concerned. That is why the temperature and humidity are closely monitored and controlled. These controls work to ensure your data's safety from environmental hazards.

Fire can do serious damage to your company records, not to mention the computer equipment used to store data. We use a chemical suppression system manufactured by Kidde-Fenwal to protect all the equipment in the data center. In the event of a fire sensors activate the system and FM200 is released. The chemical reacts to oxygen where heat is present. This process is designed to extinguish the fire without damaging the equipment.
